Ruby Valentine is an Alternative pin up model, hair and makeup artist located in Montreal, Canada. Ruby is inspired by Old Hollywood Glamour from the 1940’s to the 1960’s. She also loves the Rockabilly, Psychobilly and Gothic subcultures, which influences her style and work. From a young age, Ruby has been passionate about Art; more specifically Beauty, Photography and Fashion.
Beauty
Ruby Valentine has been working in the beauty industry since 2016. She got her start as a Color consultant/makeup artist at Sephora from 2016 to 2019. She gradually started offering freelance services for both hair and makeup. Ruby has been offering her services for events, photoshoots and private classes independently since 2019. She has developed her niche in Retro Glamour, but is always open to any creative projects.
Modelling
Her career as an alternative model started as a hobby in 2014. Since then, Ruby has modelled and/or collaborated with over 30 different brands worldwide, which include; Sourpuss, Killstar, Katakomb, Unique Vintage, Bettie Page Lingerie, What Katie Did, Modcloth and more! Ruby’s work behind the camera has helped her gain expertise on beauty techniques that look flawless on camera. Ruby is also a content creator and loves shooting her own photos for social media and brand collaboration.
